Symbols & Features

This is one slot where virtually all the symbols have their own part in the game.

First up, there’s the bonus symbol which is represented by a large white boxing glove on the first reel and a red boxing glove on the fifth reel. If these land together, then the Knockout Bonus feature is triggered.

The words ‘Rocky – Italian Stallion’ is the scatter symbol, this can appear anywhere and it unlocks the free spins with multipliers round.

An image of Rocky is the wild and the jackpot symbol combined. As the wild it substitutes all other symbols with the exception of the bonus and scatter.

Next, there are the letters R-O-C-K-Y, spinning these in the correct order to spell the word ‘ROCKY’ along the reels results in a 5x win. Lastly, there are characters from the films like Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, Adrian and Paulie.

Knockout Bonus Feature

Once triggered you are asked to select Rocky’s opponent. You must choose between, Apollo, Clubber and Ivan. You will fight 10 rounds and for every round Rocky wins, you get 3x your stake.

The feature always end with a Rocky knockout, when this happens before the 10th round, all other rounds are classified as wins.

Free Spins Round

3 scatter symbols triggers this feature and awards you 15 free spins. If triggered with 4 scatters, you get 20 free spins and 5 scatters gives you 25 free spins. All spins are played with a 2x multiplier.

Our verdict

Rocky has been around for a few years now (since 2010) so it does have a slightly aged feel to it. That said, we really enjoy playing this slot as it offers some good bonus games. Definitely one for the older generation to try as it’s guaranteed to rekindle some classic memories.
