There are 3 special features in Gemix – the Crystal Charge, World Progression and World Wilds.
The Crystal Charge feature is an exciting addition to the game and a list of bonus features. You can trigger the Crystal Charge by landing 20 or more gems in a single spin. There are 4 bonus features and one will be awarded to you randomly.
The first is Chain Lightning where two corners directly across from each other will be joined by a bolt of lightning. Every symbol on this path will be changed to match the corners. The second bonus feature is Light Beam where symbols are transformed into the same matching symbol by a ray of light that is blasted vertically and horizontally. The third bonus feature is Crystal Wrap where a symbol is chosen at random and all matching symbols will transform into another symbol. Lastly, we have the Nova Blast bonus feature where a symbol will explode and symbols adjacent to it will transform into another symbol.
What also makes Gemix different from other games is the World Progression feature. In this game, there are 3 worlds and within each world there are 3 different levels. To complete a level, you must complete the patterns displayed on the indicated positions on your screen. You can find this to the right hand side of your screen. Each time you make it to another world, you will be awarded a bonus.
The last special feature in Gemix is the World Wilds. There is a specific wild for each world and this can be activated on any non-winning spin, randomly. In the first world, Miner’s World, you can have up to ten wild miner lamp symbols appear. In the second world, Princess World, you can have the princess lollipop wild symbols spread across the reels. In the third world, Wizard’s World, you can have up to 8 spellbook sticky wild symbols on your reels.
