Design & Usability

From a purely aesthetic point of view, I found the Slots Magic site to be rather rudimentary. This is more a question of personal preference, but there are certainly other sites out there that put more effort into making the UI more pleasing to the eye.

Where the site does do well from a design standpoint is in the navigational tools, although I must admit that this isn’t immediately apparent when accessing the site on desktop. When playing via both the mobile-optimised site and the dedicated mobile app, the extremely helpful filters are much easier to find and use. If you’re a slots fan, you’ll find that you can filter through the impressive library by almost every slot mechanic and feature, on top of your more common but no less valuable categorisations like ‘New’, ‘Popular’ and ‘Jackpot’.

However, like I said, Slots Magic does a far better job of providing these options on the smaller screen, and it’s clear that the site has been designed with mobile users in mind.

Slots Magic offers titles from an almost endless list of software providers. There are big hitters in there, such as NetEnt, Playtech, NextGen, Evolution, NoLimit City, Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO and Yggdrasil. That said, despite all of these different names, we were surprised to find that Microgaming’s titles aren’t supported. While the main focus of this site is slots, as the title suggests, players can enjoy a range of other games as well. At Slots Magic, you can both deposit and withdraw using PayPal, your debit card or via a bank transfer. This isn’t as many options as some other sites are offering, but as someone who only uses debit cards and PayPal at online casinos this wasn’t an issue for me personally.

Deposits were processed instantly, as we’ve come to expect, but withdrawals did take longer than I’m used to, even when using PayPal. The same goes for the downloadable app, which is available on both the Google Play Store and App Store. Slots Magic have managed to transfer over 3,000 games to their mobile app, which is thoroughly impressive and means that app-users will not miss out on all the excellent games that are on offer. Included in this number are a range of different live dealer titles, which some online casinos omit from their app-based platforms.

Summary

All in all, Slots Magic is a solid online casino that ticks a number of boxes. My biggest concern with this site is concerning the payment section. There aren’t a whole lot of options here, and withdrawals can be particularly slow, especially when compared with some of the bigger names in the UK.
